PRESS RELEASE

Copenhagen exhibitions, late summer into fall 2005

If design had a soul, it would wobble like Thordarson’s resin wine rack. If art had humor it would grin like his collaged maps of Iceland. If architecture had a bit of compassion, it would uncoil like a resin snail. If urban design had real ambition it would make you smile. With its joker’s smirk Olafur Thordarson’s work sparks off mischievous emotions in all of us.
