November 1, 2004: First birthday celebrated on Saturday the 30th with many nice guests and a bunch of kids.
November 15, 2004: Says "mamma" now and then. Often mumbled as mapa!
November 30, 2004: Starting to eat a bit on her own, The bottle is no problem but Cheerios is starting to go in the mouth as well.
December 7, 2004: Taking big steps, rickety but definitely 5-10 steps across the room and standing for a minute or so.
December 11, 2004: Crawled up entire steps at the Winter Garden. Crawled into the sandbox on her own and walked and crawled around the Winter Garden playing with other kids... Then when we came home she pointed at Donna and said "mamma!"
December 17, 2004: Donna came through the door and Lilja yelled "mamma!" and then turned around and said "pabba," The first day she seemed to assert her first two words. Maybe it is the recent advent of raisin eating adventures.
